Our Mission
H
ELP
The goal of FinLitHERacy is to encourage young women to gain financial independence.
Our organization was founded on the principle of reciprocity and mutual help. Through our lesson guides, the leaders of our chapters are not only able to enrich their self-awareness of topics in financial literacy, but they are also able to help young girls in their schools or communities learn about financial independence.
The FinLitHERacy team founded our organization to target the global lack of financial independence among women. At FinLitHERacy, we believe the best way to solve this problem is by promoting financial literacy and helping each other learn the basics of adult finances.

DUCATE
Each chapter leader is given FinLitHERacy’s curriculum which covers taking out loans, navigating credit, budgeting, and more.
Our curriculum was made through compiling extensive research and using lessons learned by our founder from different professional summer courses and financial literacy programs. We also give our chapter members recommendations for financial-literacy-focused podcasts, books, social media accounts, and apps we love!
EACH
FinLitHERacy’s ultimate goal is to reach as many girls as possible.
Having started in our New York and Singapore chapters, we plan to grow our organization to help young women worldwide achieve financial independence. If you are interested in opening a branch at your school, please refer to our “Get Involved” form, and you will hear from us promptly.
